Asif Not for Pak-Bangla Series
Pakistan would play one-day series against Bangladesh without the pacer Mohammad Asif and that would be a big blow to Pakistan and that could be an opportunity for Bangladesh to do some upsets.
The reason cited for Asif not playing this series is because he has not completed his rehabilitation following elbow surgery in Australia two months ago. Though as usual some cospiracy theory manufacturers are hinting at some clashes between the team management and the pace bowler.
Mohammad Asif is also all set to play Indian Premier League (IPL), and he has himself is very keen to play that IPL series. “It is a chance to play alongside my idol, Glenn McGrath of Australia, and try to learn from him,” the 25-year-old Mohammad Asif has told to media recently.
These are the dangers which must be looked after by Pakistan Cricket Board very seriously and these are the real hazards of lucrative things like IPL and ICL.
