Asif Woes Continue
Mohammad Asif has been in detention at Dubai Airport since June 1 after authorities allegedly found a banned substance (Yes it was opium) in his wallet. Mohammad Asif also got himself in a fight with the authorities and now enjoying the incarceration in the Dubai.
As the public prosecutor has finished the hearing, the case has been referred to the attorney general and that means that the troubles for Asif are serious, and Dubai-Wallahs are not prepared to let him off the hook so soon and so easily. It is learned that Dubai authorities are more angry due to the stubborn and quarrelsome attitude of Mohammad Asif.
Pakistan Cricket Board is getting very edgy and desperate to get Asif back. They are once again at fault. By backing the drug-trafficker player, they are once again fanning the indiscipline in the team, and if Asif goes free and goes without punishment in this disgusting saga, then it would set a bad example for the team.
Mohammad Asif should be left at his own, and PCB should let the Dubai authorities deal with him. Couple of years of detention would do a loads of good for him.
