Ban Harbhajan Singh for life
A former Australian Test umpire has called for India Test player Harbhajan Singh to be banned for life as Indian cricket officials consider whether to throw the book at the rogue spinner.
After the Indian bad boy was suspended for 11 Indian Premier League matches for slapping teary opposition IPL paceman Shanth Sreesanth, ex-Test umpire Lou Rowan insisted Harbhajan should be thrown out of world cricket.
This fellow (Harbhajan Singh) doesn’t belong to the game of cricket, he has shown he is no good, they should just get rid of him from the sport,’ Rowan said.
‘I dont know what other sport would want him though’ I certainly don’t think he would have been allowed to get away with what he has been allowed to get away with in any other sport.’
