Chairman vs Chairman
On the sidelines of all the controversies, re-building, allegations, re-sizing, shuffling of the national cricket infrastructure, there is going on an interesting, fierce and bitter battle between the chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Dr Naseem Ashraf and the chairman of standing committee of national assembly senator Anwar Baig.
This skirmish has been going on for many months now. After the ignominious defeats in South Africa and world cup, standing committee took notice and after some meetings declared that chairman isnt up to the task, and also called him and asked for the answers. Chairman first showed the trademark stubborn attitude, then excused from the committee, then again showed aggression. Chairman of committee also kept on giving statement against chairman in the media. Chairman of committee also put forward the allegations of nepotism and corruption against the chairman of PCB.
Now this story has taken yet another interesting turn, when Dr. Nasim Ashraf has made it clear that enough is enough and he has no way left but to sue Senator Anwar Baig. Chairman PCB said that he couldnt tolerate such things any more and he couldnt possibly fell to such low level. He also added that said senator is the owner of a sick mind and has crossed all the limits and upon his baseless allegations he would sue him.
Pakistan Cricket Board will also follow the suit and sue the senator in an other case.
