Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Asif tested positive for a banned substance during random testing at the Indian Premier League (IPL), and his bad luck stars also pushed him to incarceration in Dubai, when he was caught by the Dubai police. PCB went to extra miles to
bring back the pacer, but now as IPL has announced the guilty of Mohammad Asif, PCB is also
getting away from the pacer.

PCB’s Chief Operating Officer, Shafqat Naghmi has told media, “Our policy about dope offenders is very clear, that the Board will not assist Asif in any legal matters that would arise following a confirmation from the Indian Premier League (IPL) organisers that the fast bowler tested positive for a banned substance.The Board will not provide any kind of help to Asif and he will have to fight his case himself.”

Whereas Mohammad Asif has come down to earth and now begging everyone for mercy, but now PCB has had enough of him, and they are acting wise by distancing themselves from the culprit addict.
