Enver Chases Nasim
Senator Enver Baig, member of the Senate’s sports committee is not going to leave Dr. Nasim Ashraf the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board in peace. He has been continuously after the affairs of the PCB and this time he intends to make it more harder for them.
Senator Enver Baig is right now investigating the bank accounts and expenditures of the cricket board, and he is of the sure view that the monetary affairs of PCB are very fishy, and that should be probed from the National Accountability Bureau.
Dr. Nasim Ashraf says that as the PCB is not a public sector institute and so Senate’s committee has no prerogative and right to ask them about these financial affairs, though he voluntarily will provide the records.
When Nasim Ashraf was called by the committee he went to Dubai and send his representatives for the question answer session with the Senate Committee, which was not well received by the Enver Baig. “He (Ashraf) was supposed to appear before the committee and answer important questions but he conveniently proceeded to Dubai to avoid us,” Baig told media.
It seems that Rehman Malik has to come also to reconciliate between Enver and Nasim, because incidentally Nasim is the fast friend of Musharraf.
