Faisal Iqbal leads the assault
Third day of the test match was completly dominated by Pakistani batsmen. Muhammad Yusuf, Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Abdur Razzak all had their share in the 518 runs lead Pakistan imposed over India, but Faisal Iqbal, the young nephew of Javed Miandad, played the lead role. With his maiden century, he showed the class of a test batsman and gave strong signals that he can fill the slot in middle order. A position for which Hasan Raza and Asim Kamal were tried, and rejected.
Inzimam is planning to play one and half hour on the fourth day prior to declaration. However, it seems that wicket is slowing down and Pakistan should put at least 600+ runs on board to put enough pressure on the opposition.
