Foreign Teams Now Reluctant to Go to India
Though BCCI and Indians players and media never showed any compassion towards the Pakistanis when the foreign teams refuse to come to Pakistan and they never really helped Pakistan Cricket Board to compensate for the loss and they never even volunteered to come to Pakistan, but now as the India becomes the 20th most dangerous country in the world and foreign teams are very apprehensive about coming over there, PCB should volunteer to send along Pakistani players to India.
What more they should ask India to give boarding to these players in the Taj Hotel. But English team is not that much compassionate.
England’s squad returned home in the aftermath of the attacks but are expected to return next week and play two Test matches, although there are doubts about how many of the leading players will be prepared to travel. Geoff Boycott has warned English cricket chiefs it would be “monstrous” to send the national team back to India in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
England, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand all have shown their disapproval to send their players for the Twenty20 league to India, and now in these tough times, PCB should help BCCI.
