Gillani Supports Dr. Nasim
In a rare and astonishing development, Dr. Nasim Ashraf the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been able to garner support from the premier of Pakistan. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani on Wednesday backed the chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in his effort to host the ICC Champions Trophy in a befitting manner saying that the government will provide all possible support to the biennial spectacle scheduled for this September.
Prime Minister Gillani also told media that he fully trusted the chairman PCB and a personal fan of him, and want him to carry on as he is doing a fine job. He also praised the different projects initiated by the board, and he also noted the progress in those projects, and he assured PCB his full support.
Chairman PCB, Dr. Nasim Ashraf was appointed by president of Pakistan General (r) Pervez Musharraf, and his appointment was solely without merit and on the political basis, and nowadays whenever everyone is out to sack him, this support out of the blue means a lot to the chairman PCB.
So much for the reconciliation and the power.
