New Zealand’s brilliant run-chase at WACA the other was the second highest team total batting second in a lost cause. The highest still remains of 344 by Pakistan against India at Karachi in March 2004. In all ODI’s this was the 15th occasion when a side lost even after scoring 300 runs in the second innings. The table below lists all such instances.
