Hoggard leads England in the first test

Matthew Hoggard took 6 for 57 in the first innings of first test between England and IndiaAt the end of Day Four of the First Test between India and England, although the match is edging towards a draw with England leading by 367 runs with 7 wickets remaining, English bowlers and batsmen have shown their class. First it was Paul Collingwood who made 134 on 252 balls, then Matthew Hoggard ripped Indian batting by taking 6 wickets for 57 runs. Cook has made his maiden centrury in the second innings and he is still on the crease.

This is also the debut test match for Monty Panesar, who started his test career by taking the prize wicket of Sachin Tendulkar.
