I m ready for West Indies: Tendulkar

Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar said he was looking forward to playing in the Test series against the West Indies starting June 2.
‘I am fit. I am looking forward to the (West Indies) tour,’ Tendulkar told reporters in the temple town of Subramanya, 300 km from here, after offering prayers.
The ace batsman is here on a two-day visit to perform religious rituals at various temples.
Tendulkar, who had undergone shoulder surgery in March, will, however, not be playing in the one-day series against West Indies beginning May 18.
The injury in the right shoulder kept Tendulkar out of the one-day series against England at home and the two-match one-day international series against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.
Tendulkar has played 132 Tests and tallied 10,568 runs at an average of 55.39 with a world record of 35 centuries.
In 362 one-day internationals, he has amassed 14,146 runs – the highest ever- at 44.20 with 39 centuries. Along the way, he has established many world records.
