International Cricket Council has refused to take the responsibility of the players if the Champions Trophy is held in Pakistan. The year’s biggest one-day tournament, the Champions Trophy features the top eight Test playing nations — Australia, South Africa, England, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and the West Indies. It is scheduled to be held in Pakistan September 11-28. But Australia, England and New Zealand have raised concerns about security in Pakistan

In order to take decision over this the ICC officials are meeting in the Dubai headquarters, and the decision would be taken tomorrow, but there is very remote and little chance that the decision is taken in the favor of Pakistan, and South Africa has already started preparing as the host nation for this mega event.

Pakistan Cricket Board is still trying to muster support from the other nations, but only, ironically Indian board is supporting Pakistan, perhaps because they know that Pakistan would never get the chance to host the Champion’s Trophy at least this time.

Pakistan should face safe and voluntarily announce its withdrawal from hosting the mega tournament right now.
