ICL Angry Over Rana Naved and Mushtaq
Test players Rana Naved-ul-Hasan and Mushtaq Ahmed have even given bumps to Indian Cricket Leauge, which is sponsored by the controllers of India’s largest listed media firm but has not been sanctioned by the International Cricket Council. Both Rana Naveed and Mushtaq are playing ICL, but they have also signed for the county cricket this season, which is not acceptable to ICL.
Indian Cricket League has complained to BCCI and Pakistan Cricket Board, and PCB has just shrugged it’s shoulders. ICL bumped to PCB, and when the players have bumped ICL, PCB is just relishing it quietly.
“Our policy on the ICL players is clear. They are not contracted to us nor are they eligible to play in any tournament in Pakistan. But if they go and play county or shield cricket we can’t stop them,” Shafqat Naghmi, PCB’s Chief Operating Officer has told to ICL.
ICL better knows that it’s all the game of money, and the player who would leave his national team for money would leave any thing for it.
