Imran Khan is Worried
The postponement of Champions Trophy is a body blow to Pakistan but since the country is run by wrong people everyone sees more trouble for cricket in the country, and so does the common people in Pakistan think.
The champion’s Trophy was scheduled to be held in September in Pakistan, but was postponed at last due to the security reservations of the Australia, New Zealand and England. Foreign teams’ reluctance to tour over security was understandable especially on the ongoing spate of suicide bombings in various cities of Pakistan, though they have no direct impact on the game.
Imran Khan, who is also the head of Tehrik-e-Insaaf (Movement for Justice) has really given it a thrashing at the political front and he has also remained a very bitter adversary of the officials of Pakistan Cricket Board, but he has to give the credit to the PCB that they tried their best to hold champion trophy in the country but due to the inevitable happenings they failed.
Imran should also come up with some constructive suggestions for the PCB.
