India’s historic win over West Indies in the recently concluded four-match series was its first Caribbean in 35 years. The last time India won a series in the island was way back in 1970-71 series when Ajit Wadekar led Indians masterminded India’s first series triumph in West Indies.
Interestingly, it was West Indies’ 12th series loss at home against any Test playing nation. The accompanying table has the complete details.
