India in Pakistan - 2006
Matches between Pakistan and India have always excited people of the subcontinent. With emotions fueling around, a match between India and Pakistan is treated with similar respect and followed by similar zeal and enthusiasm as a match between Australia and England.
India, after two years, returned to Pakistan to play a series of 3 tests and 5 one day internationals. With jubilant memories of the pervious season in Pakistan, India came proud after defeating Srilanka in a home clash. Pakistani team, on the other hand, has it’s moral high after a sweeping victory over England.
Indian tour started from Lahore with a side match. Although the match ended in a draw, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Virendar Sehwag ang Sourav Ganguly showed their form with the bat while Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan proved their lethal bowling performance.
CricketViewer is following the series and this page will be updated in days to come with links to the reports of test match and one dayers.
