IPL Doping and Shoaib
As the media reported that the custom officers at the New Delhi airport recovered some 36 syringes from the luggage of Shoaib Akhtar, the controversial Pakistan speedster, there were new doubts over the future of Shoaib Akhtar.
Shoaib Akhtar told the officers that he was the patient of sugar, and he only uses his own carefully purchased syringes to inject insulin, and it was just usual for him to have those syringes. After some haggle and hassle Shoaib Akhtar was allowed to take them with him.
Now Indian Premier League’s commissioner has announced that from today they would be carrying out random dope test of the IPL players, and they would not spare any player who would caught in such act.
Shoaib Akhtar must be a worried man from now on.
