Kevin Pietersen chops the blue hair out
[tag]Kevin Pietersen[/tag] got the thread of blue hair cut from his head, to start his tour against India.
His image has been toned down for the tour of India, having had the blue stripe, which protruded through the middle of his mane, cut out before he received his MBE at Buckingham Palace last week.
But that should not be taken as giving into convention, as Pietersen said: “I did it in the first place because I wanted to do it and because it was fun.
“It was created into this massive image which I did not mean to create.
“I woke up one morning, thought ‘no, I don’t like it’ and went to chop it out, it was not because I was going to see The Queen, I just got rid of it because I didn’t want it any more.â€
