Javed Miandad, who was on the verge of resigning from the PCB has now been placated by some of the government officials and now he has been reinvited to join the ranks and he has been allowed to have an interface with the media. Director General PCB Javed Miandad has formed a Media Coordination Committee comprising of senior journalists for running the media affairs during the two ODIs and One test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at national Stadium.
Miandad has agreed to this committee and has asked the chairman PCB not to interfere in its workings and let it go even after the Sri Lankan tour and make it a part of PCB. The committee shall be the platform for resolving any issue pertaining to the media. It shall further look to facilitate the local media in general and touring Sri Lankan media in particular.
Miandad should also assume responsibility and try not to create other controversies in these troubled times for the board and for the cricket.
