Inzamam-ul-Haq’s third successive forty-plus score of the series at Nottingham the other day, was his 29th score of nervous 40’s (40 to 49) in ODI’s. This is now the second highest number of forties in ODI’s by any batsman after Jonty Rhodes of South Africa. In addition to 28 forties, Inzi has also scored 83 fifties in ODI’s. For readers’ interest the accompanying table list players with 21 or more 40s in ODI’s.
