While everyone is looking for the record of most runs in a calendar year, it is interesting to note that Mohammad Yousuf just eclipsed the world record of most runs by a batsman in the month of November in any calendar year. He achieved this feat when his score reached 102 in the first innings of the Karachi Test. He bettered Andy Flower’s record of 540 runs made in November 2000. All of Yousuf’s runs have come in the ongoing three-match series against West Indies. The table below has the details.
