The on-going bitter battle between Pakistan Cricket Board’s chairman Dr. Naseem Ashraf and senator Anwar Baig has taken yet another interesting turn. Senator Anwar Baig is a member of senate’s standing committee, which looks after the sports affairs.

Mr. Anwar Baig have been accusing Dr. Naseem Ashraf right after the world cup and calling him a dictator and an incompetent man for the job. Dr. Naseem Ashraf has also replied in a very aggressive manner at myriad number of occasions.

Now Senator Anwar Baig has said in his movement that chairman PCB has used an offensive language against him, and have uttered unreasonable remarks, which have hurted him a lot. In a recent skirmish, senator severely criticized chairman PCB upon his failure to implement the constitution of PCB and called him dishonest and incompetent. Where as Doctor Naseem Ashraf used the word of “mentally sick” for senator and announced the he would sue the senator.

Senator Anwar Baig said that senate will ponder upon his move in the meeting of 9th June, and then it will be sent to committee, who could ask Naseem Ashraf to clarify his position. Moreover, senator said that he is still bent on his remarks about chairman PCB and can prove it in the court.

He also urged Dr. Nasim Ashraf to go into the court against him, so that senator could bring forward proofs against chairman’s maladminstration. Senator is also planning to write a letter to the public accounts committee of national assembly to call for an audit of PCB’s account of past 9 years. He again pointed out that due to the non-existence of the constitution of Pakistan Cricket Board, no one is accountable and responsible for anything. Drop scene of this drama is yet to be seen.
