Nasim and Shoaib Really Patched Up?
Though Rehman Malik of PPP has made do between Dr. Nasim Ashraf and Shoaib Akhtar, there still is a strong tinge of animosity between the two. Shoaib Akhtar says that he has patched up with the chairman Pakistan Cricket Board in the larger national interest and to save the country from defamation, whereas Dr. Nasim Ashraf has said that he has shown generosity due to his soft nature and to save Shoaib’s career.
Dr. Nasim Ashraf withdrew the Rs220 million defamation case against controversial Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar after he apologized to the chairman PCB, while retracting the allegations made against the board chief.
Shoaib will be playing for Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders at the IPL. It’s said that this all was done through diplomatic channels and it was Shahrukh Khan’s special request as his Kolkata Knight Riders is not doing much fine in the IPL, and he wants Shoaib Akhtar at any cost.
It would be a fun to see if Shoaib also fails in IPL like Shahid Afridi.
