Naumanullah set to win first ODI cap today
Karachi batsman Naumanullah is all set to make his international debut today (Saturday) in the final one-dayer against Bangladesh here at the National Stadium.
Naumanullah, a prolific scorer in the domestic season, will be one of three changes Pakistan will make to their playing line-up for the last one-dayer.
Experienced batsman Younis Khan will return to the squad after missing the previous two games while young left-arm medium pacer Wahab Riaz will be playing his second ODI.
Naumanullah will be replacing all-rounder Fawad Alam while Younis will come in place of Bazid Khan. Wahab Riaz, who made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe earlier this year, will come in place of young Karachi pacer Sohail Khan.
Squads: Pakistan — Kamran Akmal (wk), Salman Butt, Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Naumanullah, Shoaib Malik (captain), Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Asif, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz.
Bangladesh (from) — Mohammad Ashraful (captain), Mashrafe Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Aftab Ahmed, Nazimuddin, Shahriar Nafees, Shakib Al Hasan, Raqibul Hasan, Dhiman Ghosh (wk), Abdur Razzak, Shahadat Hossain, Mahmudullah, Farhad Reza, Syed Rasel.
