Pakistan Confirmed for Champ Trophy
International Cricket Council has confirmed that Pakistan is the ultimate venue for the prestigious venue for the Champion’s Trophy tournament this year, and there is no fall back on that, and the news of England as the alternate venue is false and there is no such plan.
Pakistan Cricket Board officials must be rejoicing this news, and they deserve applause for working so hard and their indefatigable efforts are very plausible, and should be rewarded. Though there is no role of chairman PCB Dr. Nasim Ashraf in these efforts, as he has likely escaped to America because his friend Musharraf in trouble but all the credit goes to the remaining officials of PCB.
It’s a big achievement because England, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa the all big shots and wealthy-clouted nations lobbied heavily to either shift the Champion Trophy either to South Africa or to England and used every tactic in the bag for their design but they failed.
There are security concerns in Pakistan, but not to the game. Now PCB must ensure that nobody from the neighbours come and spoil the show to undermine the Pakistan.
