Pakistan Sqaud for Asia Cup
The grandiose Asia cup is about to begin and the tempers in the veins of players are already running high and the adrenaline of the spectators all around the cricketing world is pumping at full throttle.
Amidst all the frenzy and the hubbub, every time is striving to have the best team for the grand occassion, and in order to do it at optimum, Pakistan has also selected it’s team. The team includes Shoaib Malik (captain), Salman Butt, Nasir Jamshed, Younus Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Misbah-ul Haq, Shahid Afridi, Fawad Alam, Rao Iftikhar, Sarfraz Ahmed, Sohail Tanveer, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal, and Mansoor Amjad.
Pakistan has got very huge challenge in the form of Asia Cup. They have recently done a successful tour of Bangladesh, but they need to do more, and they seem to be realizing the challenge.
Pakistani coach Geoff Lawson is right when he asked his troops to be ready for an all out assault on tournament rivals India and Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup. He knows the importance of this tournament and its implication on the future of cricket in Pakistan, which is in shambles right now.
