Pakistan team to arrive today
The Pakistan cricket team is due to return home today (Tuesday) afternoon after a disastrous three-month tour of the United Kingdom (UK).
Except for Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, all the players would be landing at the Quaid-e-Azam International Airport and fly to their respective destinations by connecting flights, a spokesman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said here on Monday. Rana Naved will be appearing in the one-day final for his county side Sussex.
The spokesman dispelled the impression that some important members of the team would be staying back in England and return home later. Pakistan team lost the four match Test series 0-3 while the five match One-Day International (ODI) series ended in a 2-2 draw after the first match at Sophia Gardens was abandoned due to rain.
