Pakistan will prepare well for South Africa: Inzamam
If the recent misery of India in the early part of the ODI series in South Africa has worried Inzamam-ul-Haq he is not showing it.
Inzamam is to lead Pakistan on a tour of South Africa starting early January and many critics believe the tourists would get a hiding on fast and bouncy wickets there, just like India who were bowled out for 91 during a 157-run South African triumph in the second ODI recently.
But Inzamam says he would cross the bridge when he comes to it. “We are still in the middle of the home series (against the West Indies) and not very bothered about the tour of South Africa,” said Inzamam.
But he agreed that Pakistan would try to go to South Africa a couple of weeks before the start of the opening Test from January 11 at SuperSport Park, Centurion. “We will go around 15 days before the start of the Test series against South Africa to get ample match practice there,” said Inzamam.
