The same board with the same board management and same chairman will keep working on their respective designations for the next three years. It was also decided in the board that Shoaib Malik will remain the captain of the team for the next one year, and the vice captain would be nominated on series by series basis. Current board committees and the governing body will remain in function for the next two years.

Another very “advanced” decision taken in the meeting was that the next meeting of the board will be held in Karachi on 9^th January, and the third meeting will be held in Peshawar, and then in Quetta, and the next one in Islamabad. Initially the meetings will be held every alternate month, and then they will be held after every three months.

Governing body has approved eight committees to run the affairs of PCB, which include Cricket committee, Disciplinary committee, Finance and Accounts Committee, Infrastructure Committee, Internal audit committee, Governance rules committee, media and PR committee, and HR committee. Every member of the governing body would head the newly organized committees.
