Return of Inzi

Nowadays Inzamam-ul-Haq, the former Pakistani captain, and the premier batsman, is in the healing process. He is busy in defending and clarifying his position. He can be found in any cricket related sports show on the private channels. His tone is different now, and his approach has turned very mellow. He has stopped bickering and weeping, and taking things rationally and positively.

He has stopped showing his extra-stubbornness and also he is no more criticizing the senior players like Imran Khan, Javed Miandad and others. He is still firm on his stances but, with much more soft approach.

The good thing from Pakistan’s point of view is that Inzamam is trying to leave behind the nightmares of his tenure as a captain, and he seems to be committed to rekindle his days of glory as a batsman.

He is saying it again and again that he is super fit and in great shape and can’t wait to join the test squad of the national team of Pakistan. Nowadays, Inzamam is practicing in Bagh-e-Jinnah Lahore, and feeling great and is completely at ease. He is feeling no problems at all and very hopeful for his return in the test squad.

Inzamam has seen lots of bad moments in the last some months. He has received his share of spanking from the media and nations. He was accused of dictatorship in the team, of his dismal form, of match fixing, of ruining the careers of many players, of wrong batting order, of cowardly approach, and many other things. But he has got lots of bullshit from everywhere, and now in the best interest of the nation, Inzamam should be excused.

The way Inzamam is preparing his return, and the way he has finalized his retirement from the One Day Internationals (ODIs), and of course the way he is showing his commitment to fitness and form, it shows that he is bent on becoming again the glory of Pakistan.
