On May 23, during the third game of the ODI series against India at Basseterre, West Indies’ Ramnaresh Sarawan smashed a brilliant unbeaten 115 to romp his side to a four-wicket win with a ball to spare. Sarwan became only the seventh player to score a century in his 100th one-day international. He is also the third West Indian to do so. It was the 94th innings of his 100th match. Just for record, Pakistan’s Yousuf Youhana is the only player to register tons in his 100th as well as 101st ODI match. For reader’s interest the accompanying table has the complete details.
