Shoaib Akhtar : Persona Non Grata
Rawalpindi Express has managed to clean bowled himself in front of the world immaculately. His career with the Pakistani team has ended as ignominiously as it could, and not even media is giving him any room for the limelight.
The desperate Shoaib Akhtar, the banned commodity for five (read- for life) is pleading with the media to rally behind him for the uplift of his cause. Media knows better and knows that his sun has drowned in the sea of of his own mud and dirt. Even the politicians who were at Shoaib’s back and provided him the man power to lift him on their shoulders are no where to be seen.
Shoaib Akhtar is a classic disciplinary example for the Pakistani players. Pakistan Cricket Board should be thankful of their stars. Especially the chairman of board, Dr. Nasim Ashraf must be an ecstatic man. But he should use this chance to straight the other skirmishes in the team.
Shoaib Akhtar should contact the Bollywood film makers now. He would also get a shocker from there too.
