South Africa Comes To Pakistan
Both Pakistan and South Africa have managed to break the hearts of their fans in their respective countries in the recently held Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa. South Africa as usual choked before reaching the finals of world cup, and Pakistan again blown-up their match with India. South Africa was most promising and favourite for the world cup, but they did the wrong things at the right moments, while Pakitan did the right things at the wrong moments.
Now South Africa will land in Pakistan tomorrow and will play 2 tests and 5 one day internationals. Interestingly South Africa is also accompanied by three security officials. South Africa consists of 14 members led by Graeme Smith with 13 officials. All the star players of South Africa are in this team, and it is reported that Jacque Kallis, the most tenacious batsman of South Africa will also be in the team. Kallis resigned from the team, when South Africa made the blunder of dropping him from the Twenty20 squad.
The sale of tickets have started for the Pakistan vs South Africa matches. Tickets can also be purchased online from the website of PCB. Though people are really saddened and angry over the defeat of Pakistan by India in the final of Twenty20 World Cup, they are looking forward to this series. Test match series will be started from 1st October in Karachi, and the second test will be played in Lahore from 8th October.
On the dead wickets of Pakistan, Pakistani batsman are bound to score some runs. No big feat in that. Even the garbage like Younis khan becomes a ‘run machine’ on this flat and pathetic wickets. PCB should also take some measures to cool down the anger of nation by atleast getting rid of Younis Khan off the team. Instead of Younis, PCB should bring back Mohammad Yousaf in the team. It’s time Younis Khan should be sent back to the hinterlands of NWFP.
