Under-19 WC Defeat of Pakistan
Pakistan is being wiped out of the face of cricketing world steadily, and the defeat in the Under-19 world cup was yet another grim milestone in that regard.
Pakistan was the defending champion of the title when South Africa crushed it by 98 runs in the semi final and then lost to India in the final. Semi final was played over two days, and in the revised conditions Pakistan failed to achieve the target of 252 runs posted by South Africa in 47 overs, and were finished off for merely 153 pathetic runs.
If Pakistan had won the Under-19 World Cup trophy, it would have been its third successive win in this title, but it wasn’t written that way, and the dismal batting performance was disgusting and it seemed that Pakistani batsmen were just hopeless morons wanted to get home cheaply.
