Younis Khan don’t sign it!
Pakistanis have always remained very loving and attached to their cricketers especially the middle order batsmen. They have always idealized the likes of Mushtaq, Haneef, Javed Miandad, Inzamam and Mohammad Yousaf. Regardless of their performances, nation has always given them their respect and regard and reward. The middle order batsman has always been the most influential player in the team.
But there is one player, who has never become successful in gaining the love and respect of nation. Even, many dont consider him a player at the first place. Yes you have guessed right, its Younis Khan. His performances have always remained questionable. His disinterested attitude towards the game, his pretences, his false smiles, , his dismal peformances in all forms of the game, his refusal to become captain after the departure of Inzi have all contributed to his dislike among the populace.
But Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) never really listens to the wishes of people. First they beg Younis to come and lead the team, and Younis just flew into the space and rejected the great title, now they are following him like a lover to sign the central contract, whereas nation just wants to not to see him clad in green uniform anymore. Nation thinks that its the best time to clearup the garbage.
Younis Khan is now acting like a royal figure. He is now sprinkling his pearls of wisdom from England, and saying that he is now more than ever feeling young, strong, invincible, impregnable, healthy, fit like bull, inviolable and potent. I earnestly think that PCB should arrange a fight between him and Mike Tyson and then with Undertaker.
He is a funny guy with a strong shade of distaste. He has attributed his dreary, gloomy, poor and outright idiotic performances to the fact that PCB in the past used him as a vice captain and captain. He said that he was unable to concentrate on his batting with those responsibilities. What can you say over that. He said that he will be a monster in the twenty20 world cup and will daze and bulldoze every bowler with an eye wink.
He said that he always keep to himself and dont bother with what the others are saying. So that means there are no chances of improvements whatsoever.
