Younis Mends Ways with PCB
Pakistani middle order batsman Younis Khan has contacted the Pakistan Cricket Board officials and has expressed sorry on his rude behaviour at the start of Pakistan-Bangladesh series. Younus was left out of the series, when he didn’t perform in the initial matches and PCB cited the reason that they were giving chance to the youngsters.
Upon this Younus Khan expressed great anger and threatened to not to play in the further series this year. PCB gave him a cold shoulder and he voluntarily took back his words. He is likely be available for the last One-day International of the five-match series against Bangladesh.
Younus Khan had contacted chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed, making himself ready for the last ODI to be played at the National Stadium, Karachi after missing out the third and fourth matches held in Lahore and Multan, respectively, for the above mentioned reasons.
PCB should give him more rest and PCB should try to give youngsters a chance. Tours like Bangladesh are a good opportunity to test the fresh blood.
